POEM INTERPRETATION - 'WHO CARES?'

For an art direction creative piece, we were to take a section of a poem given to us and interpret it in a way relevant to oneself. I chose the line 'who cares?' - and related it back to the naivety of my childhood. I used to spend hours upon hours of time playing and creating in the rumpus room or at kindy. I had no troubles or cares in the world. Ignorant Bliss - I like to refer to it as. Sometimes I wish that I could go back to those times when I didn't care as much...

EARTH HOUR 2010

Massey University in unison with Earth Hour:
"Eco-Innovations Project 2010".
Groups had to come up with an innovative concept around sustainability.

We were given 3 days -- WE WON

Our concept was creating a sustainability aisle in the supermarket (or even a whole supermarket) that encouraged the use of refills.
"No frills, Just refill." With some social innovations to the way we purchase milk at our local supermarket we could cut back the carbon emissions of plastic bottle production and transport miles. Introducing a self-service milk station that brings back glass bottles that are 100% reusable and recyclable into supermarkets.
