EARTH HOUR 2010

Massey University in unison with Earth Hour:
"Eco-Innovations Project 2010".
Groups had to come up with an innovative concept around sustainability.

We were given 3 days -- WE WON

Our concept was creating a sustainability aisle in the supermarket (or even a whole supermarket) that encouraged the use of refills.
"No frills, Just refill." With some social innovations to the way we purchase milk at our local supermarket we could cut back the carbon emissions of plastic bottle production and transport miles. Introducing a self-service milk station that brings back glass bottles that are 100% reusable and recyclable into supermarkets.
Group Members: Me, Karl, Garth, Grace and Jo.

BOX BOX

BOX BOX was a competition (outside of school time) in November 2009

The theme was 'escapism'.
We took the idea of escaping reality through imagination (books).
The large book was on display down at Wellington's waterfont next to Waitangi Park.
Part of this competition was to get the public involved.
Unfortunately the you tube clip has changed from The Beatle's :(
